Ponmagal Gold Saving Plan

The Ponmagal Gold Saving Plan is a structured, gold weight-based savings scheme offered by SMJ SENTHIL MURUGAN JEWELLERS that helps customers build gold assets systematically. The plan allows customers to enjoy zero making and wastage charges on redemption (subject to terms and conditions).

Minimum Monthly Payment

Customers can start with a monthly payment of ₹1,000, and in multiples of ₹1,000.

Scheme Duration

The scheme runs for a total of 11 months.

Account Opening

The saving scheme account must be opened in-store. After account activation, the next 10 monthly instalments can be paid through this mobile app.

Gold Conversion

Each monthly payment is converted into gold weight based on the prevailing 22kt board rate (applicable at the time and date of payment).

Gold Accumulation

The corresponding gold weight is credited monthly to the customer’s saving scheme account.

Making & Wastage Charges

• No making or wastage charges will be applied on items purchased within the accumulated gold weight.
• Stone cost, if applicable, in gold or silver ornaments, must be borne by the customer.

Redemption

• After successfully completing 11 monthly payments, redemption can be done in the 12th month.
• Redemption is allowed only against gold ornaments or silver articles.
• Diamond jewellery, silver MRP products, and gift items are not eligible for redemption.
• If selected items exceed the accumulated gold weight, full making and wastage charges will apply on the excess weight.

• Through the App: UPI, credit/debit cards, or net banking via secure payment gateway.
• In-Store: Cash, card, UPI.
